This black tie optional event is especially designed to recognize the contributions and achievements of minority businesses in Maryland and the surrounding areas. The 2008 Gala featured a before and after networking reception featuring cocktails designed by Mixology Bartending Services, an awards dinner, video interviews, live entertainment and intermingling with the "Who's Who" in the business and political communities. The host for the evening was Doris McMillon of McMillon Communications Inc. and a delicious dinner was presented by Executive Chef Randall McNeely of Thyme Catering LLC (former Executive Chef for the Camelot).
